Vintage Kashmir India papier mache lidded trinket box. Hand made and hand painted lacquered trinket box with detailed kingfisher bird and gold tone leaf designs. Box was traditionally used for small goods, jewelry, or as a powder box. Box measures 4.5" in diameter and 3" tall. Box has some light wear to some areas of the paint consistent with age, overall it is in good condition. Unsigned and undated, like middle 20th century.
