Original signed painting attributed to artist Diego Rivera. Oil on canvas. Depicts a scene of a man hammering a stone block, a common motif used by Rivera and shows techniques consistent with Rivera's works. Painting is signed on bottom left corner by artist. Painting is given a gold toned wood frame. Painting measures 16" wide by 20" tall, total size with frame measures 20" wide by 24" tall. paper on backside has been removed for examination, no additional markings found, canvas shows age consistent with Rivera's time period. Frame has some light wear, painting itself is in excellent condition.
