Original Ernest Fredericks (1877-1959) signed painting, framed. Oil on canvas. Winter time scene of the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. Painting is signed by Fredericks in the lower left corner. Painting measures 16" wide by 20" tall and is given a weathered white wood frame with an Ernest Fredericks name plate. Total size is 20" by 24". Backside of painting has a 1940 newspaper article with more information about Fredericks from a Chicago gallery piece. Painting has visible chipping in the upper section where the sky is, this is noted in photos.
