Antique 1879 MRE D'Arme De Chat French bayonet with scabbard. French made steel rifle bayonet short sword with wood and brass handle, and rifle attachment slot. Date and maker noted on side of bayonet. Serial number 90913 noted on both bayonet and scabbard. Blade measures 21" long, total size measures 26" long. Blade has some light tarnish and there is some light wear to handle, overall bayonet is in very good condition.
