Original Charles Hines landscape painting. Oil on canvas. Marshy grassland landscape with palm trees reminiscent of Florida wetlands. Painting is signed and date by artist on bottom left corner, and has personalized inscription from family on back. Dated to 1871, which represents one of his last works before his death. Painting measures 10" by 12", total size with frame is 14" by 16". Some light wear to frame, painting itself is in excellent condition.
