Original Edgar Degas "Dancers coming from the dressing rooms onto the stage" soft ground etching with certificate of authenticity. Original etching done by Degas and plate printed on Velin Rives paper by Maurice Potin in 1938. Depicts a scene of French ballet dancers readying for a performance. Etching measures 6 3/8" wide by 8 3/8" tall, total size with frame is 16" wide by 18" tall. Certificate of authenticity is issued by KCM Galleries and provides further information on the piece. Etching is in excellent condition.
