First printing edition noted on cover page, first printing limited to 1200 copies, printed by the Alleghany historical society. Hardcover with original dust jacket. Book provides a detailed history of the region with illustrations and photos. Dust jacket has visible wear and staining, the edges of the front corner of the pages have staining, though very little of it is on the pages themselves, and there are annotations on some pages from the previous owners. Overall the book is in good condition.
